D-Law's Synthwave influenced track; "City In Purple" tackles social justice issues in a refreshing way. This pop-styled song doesn’t disappoint. The synth and drums are so 80s, they’re almost like A-ha’s “Take On Me”, though not straying to far from his familiar urban/hip-hop roots. D-Law manages to stay lyrically on topic as he rides this retro style track. Managing to be creative and experimental; a true artist.
